Christine Ahn Named MWC Athlete of the Week

Colorado State senior pole-vaulter Christine Ahn was today named the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track & Field Women's Athlete of the Week.

Ahn broke the school record for the fourth time in her career and the second time this season, winning the pole vault at the Air Force Twilight Classic after clearing 12-9.5.

She broke her previous record of 12-8 from the Jack Christiansen Invitational on April 24.

Ahn and the rest of the Rams are headed to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship which begins Wed., with the multi-events.
