The Colorado State men finished second in the 2004 MWC Outdoor Championships behind sprinter John Woods' first-place finishes in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. The Ram women completed a third-place finish behind Loree Smith who finished first in the hammer throw and discus and second in the shot put.
