Rams Tied for Third in Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic

The Baylor women's golf team used an 11-under-par 277 in the second round of the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic to jump into an 18-stroke lead heading into the final round at the Ptarmigan Country Club in Fort Collins. The Bears finished the day with a two-round total of 564 (-12) and lead New Mexico who finished with rounds of 293 and 289 to finish at six-over-par.
Host school Colorado State, who led after one round with a two-under 286, completed the first day in a tie for third with Fresno State with a nine-over 585.
Individually, Baylor's Josefin Svenningsson leads the pack with a two-round total of 138 (-6) while teammate Sian Reddick (-4) and Nebraska's Stephanie Ruiz sit two strokes back at a 140. CSU freshman Krystina Gillenwater ranks fourth with a day one three-under 141.
