MADISON, Wisc. - The Rams launched their 2026-27 season at the Badger Invitational, finishing out the tournament Tuesday afternoon tying for 11th in the 16-team field. Ebba Thalen led Colorado State for the start of her junior season, shooting eight-over-par to land a finish tied for 33rd.

Leading the Rams was Ebba Thalen, who shot eight-over and tied for 33rd. Thalen shot seven birdies, three of which were in the second round to earn her an even finish for the round.
Following Thalen was Kara Kaneshiro, who tied for 45th with an 11-over card. Kaneshiro tied for 11th of all participants for total birdies, shooting 10 over the three rounds.
Khemmanut Soralum finished her first tournament as a Ram tied for 55th after playing 13-over. Soralum shot four birdies in the third round and ended at one-over, marking her best round at the Invitational.
Ending tied for 65th was Jacinda Lee, who shot 16-over with four birdies. Lee started strong in the first round, shooting two birdies and two bogeys for an even-par finish.
Also making her first appearance as a Ram, Jacey Kage rounded out Colorado State in 73rd with an 18-over card. Kage fired her lowest round in the third, shooting a birdie and seven pars on the back nine.

Up Next: Colorado State women's golf returns to Fort Collins to host the Ben Connell Ram Classic. The tournament will run from September 21-22 at the Ptarmigan Country Club.
