She is a member of the National Honor Society with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She was named to the both the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News All-State Teams in 2006, and has been a member of the Colorado Junior Golf All-Star Team in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
"Kayley has the heart of a champion and a resume to back that up," said Hopkins. "She is the top recruit in Colorado and we are very excited to have her join our program. Kayley knows what it takes to win, she has the discipline and dedication to be a CSU Ram."
Cecilia Edlund (Skane, Sweden) Cecilia will join the Rams early in January 2007. She is a member of the Ljunghusens Women's Golf Team and has had six top 10 finishes during the 2006 season. She also has two tournament victories and is a two-time Girls Club Champion. Cecilia has a very strong mental game and length off the tee.
"Cecilia will bring athleticism and a strong mental game to our program," said Hopkins. "She is long off the tee and has the team experience to step right in and play right away. She has been very fortunate to play on some extremely talented Swedish teams and knows how to handle the pressure of team competitions."
