The Colorado State women's golf team wrapped up play today at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. The Rams, who were co-hosting the tournament with the University of Colorado, finished in a tie for 14th place along with the University of Arizona. CSU carded a 918 over three rounds as a team, with their best score, a 303, coming in the first round of the tournament. The University of Kansas grabbed the top spot as a team carding an 884 for the tournament. Adriana Zwanck, from the University of Arizona, held on to the top spot from yesterday to finish the tournament in first place with a score of 213 (-3).

The top finisher for the Rams for the fourth tournament in row was sophomore Chelsea Benton. Benton hung on to her spot from yesterday, finishing in a tie for seventh place after shooting a two-over-par 218. The seventh place finish is the second best finish for Benton this season and the second top 10 finish for the Rams this year.

Freshman Stefanie Ferguson was next on the leaderboard for Colorado State. Ferguson shot a 230 (+14) and finished in a three-way tie for 46th place. Megan Chapman was only five strokes behind Ferguson, carding a 235 for the tournament and finishing in a tie for 56th place. Karen Wanersdorfer and Amber Ward rounded out the team for the Rams. Wanersdorfer shot a 239 and tied for 67th place and Ward shot a 245, which moved her up two spots from yesterday to 75th place.

Next up for the team is the BYU Dixie Classic in St. George, Utah. The Rams will be off for a week before heading out to Utah on April 3rd to compete in the three day tournament.
