Fort Collins, Colo. - Ten different Ram players scored goals in the Colorado State water polo team's 16-3 win over Penn State Behrend Thursday evening at Edora Pool Ice Center in Fort Collins.

CSU (10-6) jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the first before the visiting Lions scored a goal at the end of the opening period to make the count 5-1 after one quarter. The Rams then opened the second quarter with a goal to go up 6-1 before PSB scored their second goal of the game to make it 6-2 with 5:47 to play in the half.

CSU then scored nine unanswered to put themselves up 15-2 at the 4:30 mark of the fourth quarter. The Lions scored once more and CSU added a late-game goal to make the final count 16-3.

CSU's Annie Quinn and Laurien White each posted hat tricks with three goals apiece. Both players rank in the top 20 nationally in goals scored with Quinn recording 33 on the year and White notching 28.

Leah Kelly and Laura Scruggs each had two goals for CSU while six other Rams had a one-goal game on the night.

"It was an all around team effort tonight", commented CSU assistant coach Mike Moody. "We were aggressive on defense and worked our motion offense and did a really good job. It was a good tune up for the rest of the week."

CSU travels to California where they will play 10 games in a span of nine days including four games each in the UC San Bernardio Tournament and the Claremont Colleges Tournament.
