Water Pik is proud to present this week's Water Pik Excellence in Education award winners. This program highlights excellence in the classroom by Colorado State student-athletes and professors. Today's honorees are Dr. Brian Butki and Megan Chapman of the CSU women's golf team.
Dr. Brian Butki attended the University of Wyoming and the University of North Carolina where he studied sport and exercise psychology and physiology. He has been with CSU for 3 years and teaches sport psychology and epidemiology. Brian is here tonight with his wife Erin and his daughters, future Rams Alisha and Camden.
Megan Chapman of the CSU Women's Golf Team is a senior at Colorado State who is originally from Thornburn, Ontario Candada. Megan is majoring in Natural Resources and enjoys snowboarding, listening to music and exercising. Megan finished in 6th place at the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic after carding a 68 in the 1st round, which placed her in a tie for the 2nd lowest round in CSU history.
Congratulations to both of today's recipients of the Water Pik Excellence in Education Awards!
