Poudre Valley REA Winners Announced

Colorado State recognized the Poudre Valley REA "High Energy Students of the Game" Saturday at the CSU Men's Basketball game at Moby Arena.
Five students from Windsor School District and Poudre School District will be presented with a plaque and recognized during this weekend's CSU Basketball game for the Poudre Valley REA "High Energy Student of the Game" program. Students are selected by each participating school based on their energy in and out of the classroom. This weekend's recipients are:
Brandon Burke, a student at Livermore Elementary in Fort Collins, was nominated because of the great improvements he has made in everything he does. He continuously helps other students, is constantly smiling and is always pleasant!
Michael Yauk, a fifth grader from Skyview Elementary, is a very energetic student with an incredible sense of humor. Michael's responsibility and love of learning make him a role model to the other students!
Matthew Thiemann is a fifth grader at Grandview Elementary in Windsor, who follows the code of conduct by being respectful, responsible and fun to be around. Matt is very well liked by his peers because he treats people the way he would want to be treated.
Logan Kutz is a student at Livermore Elementary who is a great help to his bus driver every day. Logan stays on the bus after all of the other students have gotten off to check for forgotten items, he then searches out the students and returns their belongings.
Jessica Jones, a 7th grader at Charter Elementary was nominated because she tries hard to succeed in all of her classes and is willing to give the extra effort to make things better. She is a also great friend for those around her.
