Track & Field Sending Three To NCAA Indoor Championship

The NCAA Track and Field committee this evening announced that senior Janay DeLoach, senior Katie Lloyd and senior Kevin Johnson from Colorado State have been selected to compete at 2007 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships. The championships will be held March 9-10, hosted by the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. DeLoach will compete in the long jump, where she is ranked third, and is making her second straight appearance at the NCAA Championships after competing last season in the 60 meters. Lloyd will compete in the pentathlon entering the championship ranked seventh and Johnson will compete in the heptathlon, where he is ranked 12th. All three seniors are the school record holders in their respective events and won the Mountain West Conference Indoor title.
