CSU Tennis Heads to Regular Season Finale

The Colorado State women's tennis team will head to Greeley, Colo., Wednesday to play their final regular season match against Northern Colorado.

The Rams enter the match with an 8-11 (1-7 MWC) record. In singles play, the Rams are currently 52-61 in dual play and 83-93 overall. The team has six singles players with double digit victories on the year. The team is led in the wins category by Hilary Tyler who has 16 victories. In doubles, Emily Kirchem and Hilary Tyler have paired up for 20 victories this year, winning their eighth straight match Sunday against Montana. As a team, the Rams are 32-22 in dual competition and 48-34 overall.

Exactly a year ago Wednesday, the Rams swept Northern Colorado, 6-0, winning each of the singles points. The Bears are 6-11 on the year and hold a 4-4 record at home. In singles, the team is 9-39 and 17-63 overall. In doubles, the Bears are 1-23 in dual play, and 6-40 overall. The bears are coming off a win over Colorado State-Pueblo Sunday, in which the Bears swept the ThunderWolves, 7-0.
