Fort Collins - Beginning Monday, July 23, Colorado State students will be able to purchase tickets to the Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown, the 2007 football opener at Invesco Field at Mile High vs. in-state rival Colorado. Athletic ticket manager Sharon Rady made the announcement.
In addition this year, the school is making available to students a Ram Road Trip bus package. Upon paying for their game tickets on-line, students can purchase up to two bus passes for round-trip transportation. The bus package, which includes breakfast, is an additional $12. Buses will depart from the Transfort Transit Center located just north of the Lory Student Center at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 1, the day of the game. Space is limited. Kickoff is at 10 a.m.
From July 23-Aug. 20, Colorado game tickets are available exclusively on-line at CSURAMS.com to full-fee paying CSU students. Accessing the link that will be provided, students can purchase one ticket for $15 and a second "guest" ticket for face value, $55. Ram Road Trip passes also will be available using that link.
In August, the Denver Broncos ticket office will e-mail CSU students who purchased game tickets to let them know their tickets are ready to print at home.
Regarding the six home football games in Fort Collins, students receive free tickets beginning the Monday of the week of the game. Students can pick up the tickets either at the McGraw Center ticket office, or the Lory Student Center information desk.
Season tickets remain on sale, including three-game miniplans. Season tickets start for as little as $125, and can be purchased online at CSURAMS.com or by calling 1-800/491-RAMS.
