The Colorado State women's golf team is tied for 10th in the second round of the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate at Highlands Ranch Golf Club in Highlands Ranch, Colo. on Monday evening. A rain delay during the opening round caused play to be suspended in the second round due to darkness with between two and five holes remaining for most groups on the course.
The Rams ended day one in a tie for 10th place with UNC-Wilmington at 32-over-par, four strokes behind ninth-place Mississippi and 15 strokes behind tournament leader, Baylor.
Sophomore Kasey Claussen paced the Rams, sitting at 5-over-par overall, after shooting a 74 (+2) in the first round. Junior Stefanie Ferguson sits in a tie for 29 at 7-over-par. Sophomore Natalie Stone and freshman Kayley Kempton are tied for 44th (+10) and freshman Cecilia Edlund is 17-over-par in a tie for 81st.

Play will resume Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. with the conclusion of round two, followed by the 18-holes slated for round three.
