Postgame notes: Air Force at CSU
First-half notes:
· The Rams went 16:05 without a two-point basket, scoring all 24 points on three-pointers, the longest CSU has gone in a half without a two in the last 30 years. Creason had the layup and converted on the free throw after a foul for a three-point play. To that point CSU was 8-of-9 from beyond the arc.
· The 10 three-pointers were the most by CSU in a half this season. The previous high was seven against Denver in Moby Arena.
· Andre McFarland was 4-of-5 from three-point range, tying a career high with four made three-pointers. Marcus Walker was 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. They led all scorers with 12 points each.
· Willis Gardner returned to the lineup after sitting out two games due to injury and had five assists in the first half.
Second-half notes:
· Ram fans were on their feet until the 17:18 mark of the second half as CSU held the Falcons without a field goal until that point.
· The Falcons erased a 13-point Rams lead in the second half to take the lead in the final 5 minutes. Air Force had not led since the 10:50 mark of the first half.
· CSU was 2-of-5 from the free-throw line in the final 4 minutes
