FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Joseph Tayor scored a career high 21 points as Wyoming handed Colorado State its 14th straight loss with a 77-67 victory Wednesday night.

Tyson Johnson added 17 points for Wyoming (11-16, 4-10 Mountain West). The Cowboys ended their three-game losing streak and won for only the second time in seven road games.

Willis Gardner led Colorado State (6-21, 0-13) Mountain West with 16 points. The Rams also suffered their 14th consecutive conference losses. Their last win came when they defeated Wyoming 86-68 on Feb. 24, 2007.

Stuart Creason's layup off a feed from Marcus Walker capped a 9-0 to start the second half and put the Rams ahead 41-28. But Wyoming went on a 10-0 run midway through the half and took the lead, 50-47 on Eric Platt's 3-pointer with 8:12 left.

Walker's pointer with 7:18 to play tied the game, 52-52. Brad Jones broke the tie with a short jump shot and the second of two straight jumpers by Taylor made it 62-55 with 2:54 left.

Colorado State took a 32-28 lead into halftime after once leading 29-12 with 7:07 left.

Johnson scored seven points as the Cowboys finished the half with a 16-3 run.
