Tim Miles: On the loss: "We kept saying as a staff, `How many minutes has Stu got?'. When we didn't have him in the game it was hard for us. He really is stable in the middle for us." On UNLV: "They get the three shooters and we just are out of place. They get so many more shots off the offensive boards. If they don't get those rebounds it is a five, six point game at half. We turned it over 10 times; they did it three- if we had reduced that it would have been a different game." The effort: "I think that our kids had a better effort tonight from the last two games. Without Willis and with Stu hurt it is just such a challenge for us. We will just have to see how it is Wednesday. Willis wanted to play, but there was no sense in that, rest him and see how he is on Wednesday." How the season is progressing: "It is a little better with Stu in the game. With Stu we feel we can run it and we did. I felt better about it; this is the right path we have to go down. We weren't losing ground, the kids didn't quit. I felt we were going in the right direction."
Stuart Creason On coming back: "It felt really good to be back out there. I think at halftime he (Tim Miles) made a point of making sure that we were looking for me to touch the ball on every play. It starts a little tight and now it really is a challenge to get back. It is just going to take some work and some time to get back to where I was."
On the second half: "With Willis missing the second half, we have so many young good. Sometimes it is a little crazy with this kind of atmosphere. We need to learn when to take tough shots and when not to."
On the challenges in the game: "The rebounds and the turnovers really made it so we just really didn't have a chance. I guess we were too tired to block out after that first half."
