Nine CSU track and field athletes named all-Mountain West

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Nine individuals and two relay teams from the Colorado State track and field program earned 2008 Mountain West indoor track and field all-conference awards for their performances last weekend at the MWC championships. Emily Pearson collected three individual awards.
The CSU women's squad came within 10 points of an indoor championship while the men's squad finished fifth. The women's team garnered points in unexpected areas and the distance program ran a strong meet. All-conference selections are awarded to the top three finishers in each event.
