Space available at CSU tables for kickoff luncheons

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Fans interested in attending either the Front Range Kickoff in Denver, or the CSU Fall Kickoff in Fort Collins, both annual August events, still have an opportunity to reserve their seats. The Rams athletic department also is accepting reservations for the annual Business After Hours event.
Mountain West Conference Front Range Kickoff Luncheon, sponsored by The Mtn.
Date: Thursday, Aug. 14
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Denver Marriott Tech Center (I-25 & E. Belleview)
Rams supporters can join CSU Head Coach Steve Fairchild, who’ll join Wyoming coach Joe Glenn, and Air Force coach Troy Calhoun as they give fans a preview of the 2008 football season. MWC Commissioner Craig Thompson also will talk about the state of the conference.
Fans can help CSU win the attendance competition this year. Registration must be received by this Friday and admission is $30. Visa and Mastercard are accepted by phone (970/491-7285). CSU Fall Kickoff Luncheon
Date: Thursday, Aug. 28
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Hilton Fort Collins, 425 W. Prospect Road
Fans can help the Colorado State athletic department and the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce kick off the fall sports season. It’s an opportunity to hear from CSU Athletic Director Paul Kowalczyk and four head coaches: Fairchild (football), Tom Hilbert (volleyball), Brian Bedard (track and field) and Bryan Berryhill (cross country). Great prizes will be given away.
Admission is $20 for Chamber or Ram Club members, $25 for general admission, or $250 for a sponsored table of 10 people. Registration and payment must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. Checks and major credit cards are accepted by phone (970/482-3746). Business After Hours, with CSU and the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce
Date: Wednesday, Aug. 13
Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium
Supporters are invited to celebrate their Rams pride at Business After Hours. The largest event of its kind, it will give fans a chance to meet and mingle with the CSU coaches and staff.
Admission is $13 for CSU Ram Club and Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce members, if registration and payment are received by 5 p.m. on Aug. 12. Cost is $20/member at the door.
