Mountain West Conference teams competing in the championships will be Colorado State, BYU, 2008 champion New Mexico, San Diego State, TCU, UNLV and Wyoming.

The Rams lineup for the Mountain West Conference championships will include junior Kasey Claussen, freshman Melissa Martin, senior Stefanie Ferguson, junior Natalie Stone and freshman Brianna Espinoza.
MountainView Collegiate Invitational...
The Rams completed their regular season with a seventh-place finish out of 19 teams at the MountainView Collegiate Invitational. Senior Stefanie Ferguson led the way for the team with a three-round score of 223, putting her in 26th place. Close behind Ferguson, freshman Melissa Martin and junior Kasey Claussen tied in 27th place with final scores of 224. The Rams compiled a team score of 305 (+17).
Notes...
• Colorado State placed second at the MWC championships once (2001) and third four times (2000, 2002, 2003 and 2005).
• Last year, junior Natalie Stone had the lowest score for the Rams (230), finishing in 12th place.
• The team has placed in the top 10 seven times so far this season.
• The Rams’ second-place finish at the BYU Dixie Classic marked a season best, and the second consecutive year that the Rams posted a season-best finish at the tournament.
• Five Colorado State golfers rank in the top 20 in the Mountain West Conference in stroke average. Junior Kasey Claussen ranks seventh with an average of 74.81, followed by freshman Melissa Martin (11th, 75.85), senior Stefanie Ferguson (12th, 76.00), junior Natalie Stone (18th, 76.79) and freshman Brianna Espinoza (19th, 77.08). Colorado State and TCU are the only programs in the conference to have five individual golfers listed in the top 20.
• As a team, CSU ranks fourth in the MWC with a stroke average of 301.15.
• Colorado State is fifth in the nation for par-3 scoring with an average of 3.15. Individually, junior Kasey Claussen ranks 16th nationally in par-3 scoring with an average of 3.05.
