Colorado State Women’s Golf Welcomes Brad Breier to Coaching Staff

Breier brings previous head coaching experience to the Rams

FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State women's golf team and head coach Laura Cilek announced the additions of Brad Breier to the coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season.
 
"I am so excited to welcome Brad to our Colorado State athletics family," Cilek said. "Brad is passionate about player development and his excitement to join our women's golf program set him apart. He is going to bring great energy into our culture and we can't wait for him to get started!"
 
"I'm incredibly excited to join CSU and become part of such a dedicated and competitive program," Breier said. "I'm especially looking forward to learning from Coach Cilek and growing under her leadership. I can't wait to build strong relationships with the team and get to know them as people. I hope to contribute to the team's success and be part of building something special both now and in the future."

  • Breier joins the Rams after serving as the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach at Lewis and Clark University in Portland, Oregon. He served with the River Otters for three seasons.
  • With Lewis & Clark, Breier led the River Otters to a third place Northwest Conference Women's Championship and sixth place overall on the men's side in 2026. Both programs finished ranked in the top 50 nationally after the season.
  • Before Lewis & Clark, Breier worked with the University of Redlands Men's and Women's Assistant Golf Coach for the 2022-23 season where the women's program ranked No. 1 nationally.
  • Breier graduated from Willamette University where he was an all-conference baseball player and graduated with a Bachelor of History in 2015. He then added on a Master's in Education at Chapman university in 2017 following by a career in teaching before becoming a full-time coach.
The Rams will look ahead to their first season as members of the PAC-12 conference in 2026-27.
