FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Ram Club, Shred-it, and Gallegos Sanitation are coming together Saturday from 9-11:30 a.m., to raise support for the Athletics General Scholarship Fund at CSU.
CSU fans and businesses will have the opportunity to securely shred any unwanted paper or recycle cardboard they might have, by bringing it to the Moby Arena parking lot, on the corner of Shields and Elizabeth.
The event, which features the CSU women’s basketball team, will not charge for these shredding and recycling services. In turn, fans are invited to consider making a gift in the amount of what they would’ve paid for those services to a very worthy cause, supporting scholarships of Rams student-athletes. Ram Club staff will be on hand to accept cash, checks, or credit card donations.
Shred-It specializes in providing a tailored document destruction service, which allows businesses to comply with legislation and ensure that the client, employee and confidential business information is kept secure at all times. Associates from Shred-It will be offering their services free to the public for this event only.
Gallegos Sanitation, Inc. (GSI), will also be contributing toward the event, as it will be providing a container for recycling cardboard only during the event. GSI offers residential, commercial and construction waste disposal & recycling services, as well as portable restrooms and waste containers for special events.
The CSU and Fort Collins communities are invited to stop by on Saturday morning to take advantage of this special event, and to support a worthy cause, scholarships at CSU.
