Men's golf recap: Rams in sixth after day two

BREMERTON, Wash. - Colorado State's Bryce Hanstad and Dustin Morris are still among the top-10 individuals after day two of the NCAA West Regional. The Rams fell four spots to sixth place Friday.
The team shot a 298 and is currently 13 over par. In order to advance to the NCAA championships, the Rams need to finish in the top five. CSU is two strokes behind fifth-place Oregon State and three strokes behind San Diego and USC in third place. Host school Washington completed another outstanding round and extended its lead to 16 strokes over second place Illinois.
Hanstad shot a 72 Friday, and leads the Rams in a tie for sixth place. Morris fell from first to eighth on day two with a 75. Zahkai Brown shot a 74 and is currently tied for 22nd, Riley Arp is now tied for 57th with a 77 on the day, and Ryan Peterson rounds out the team in 69th with an 80.
