The Colorado State women's golf team opens up a strong fall schedule when the Rams host the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic Monday and Tuesday at the Ptramigan Country Club. Seventeen Division I women's collegiate golf teams will compete in this year's event.

The Ptarmigan Country Club is a 6,259-yard, par-72 course. The 54-hole tournament will begin with two rounds on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., and the final round will take place Tuesday morning at 8:30.

Colorado State will compete as one of 17 teams at the Ptarmigan Fall Classic. Other teams are New Mexico, New Mexico State, Wyoming, Baylor, Oregon, Long Beach State, San Jose State, Texas Tech, UTEP, Louisville, Illinois, California, Fresno State, and Idaho, as well as in-state rivals Northern Colorado and Colorado make up the 17-team field.

The lineup...
The Rams tournament golf team lineup is Brianna Espinoza, Emily Roering, Sarah Roering, Betsy Kelly, Cecilie Krefting, and Christina Spinzig will be competing as an individual.

Rams at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic...
Last season, along with breaking a school record, the Rams finished second. Finishing the tournament with a team score of 863 (-1), the Rams surpassed the school record by an astonishing six strokes. The last school record was set at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in 2008-09 season.
