FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State welcomes Montana this Sunday for the Rams' second home match of the spring season. Over 160 fans came to CSU's spring debut Jan. 29 against Denver.
The Rams hope to see a comparable turnout against the Grizzlies this weekend. The dual match takes place indoors at Miramont Lifestyle Fitness, 901 Oakridge Dr. in south Fort Collins, behind Sam’s Club. Admission is free.
Colorado State will come into the match after playing back-to-back matches Friday and Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Grizzlies will come into the match Sunday to conclude their own back-to-back road swing.
"We know it is going to be competitive," said Head Coach Jon Messick. "Hopefully we will be able to build off of the weekend’s earlier matches and get match tough."
In the two teams’ previous matchup last season, the Rams claimed a 4-3 win. The victory came down to last match in order to determine a final winner. CSU’s Lauren Mulhern was able to give the Rams the deciding point in the match as she battled back from a 3-1 deficit in her final set in the No. 5 singles position.
For those that can’t make the match, live scores will be available on CSURams.com.
