CSU's Roering repeats as academic All-American

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - For the second consecutive year, Colorado State golfer Emily Roering has earned a spot on the prestigious National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team, the NGCA recently announced.

Roering, a Junior, from Glenwood, Minnesota, is majoring in Health and Exercise Science.

The NGCA honors student-athletes who carry a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and who compete in at least 60 percent of tournaments their schools entered. Roering competed in all 12 CSU tournaments.

Roering’s 2010-2011 season highlights included a second place finish at the CU Heather Farr Memorial Invitational as well as a Rams single-round low score of 69 in the final round of the MountainView Collegiate. She also earned Mountain West academic all-conference honors.
