- No. 6 Colorado State improved to 21-1 on the year, and 9-0 in the Mountain West play, with a sweep over Boise State (25-18, 30-28, 25-15). The Rams are the first team in the nation to 21 wins.
- Since its only loss, to No. 4 Wisconsin on Sept. 6, CSU has now won 16-straight matches, the sixth-longest winning streak in program history.
- Additionally, the Rams have now swept each of their last six opponents and have won 20-straight sets dating back to Oct. 2 vs. UNLV. The 20-set win streak is the longest for CSU since it won 24-consecutive sets from Oct. 13-Nov.4, 2011.
- CSU improved to 10-0 all-time against Boise State. More impressively, the Rams have taken all 30 sets in the series history against the Broncos.
- CSU is 9-0 in Mountain West action for the sixth time ever, and the third time in the past five years. The Rams are the only unbeaten team in the conference, and own a 2.5-match lead over second-place UNLV (6-2).
- CSU improved to 9-1 at home on the year. The Rams are 49-4 at Moby Arena since the start of the 2011 season, putting them fourth in the nation in home winning percentage during that period.
- CSU racked up a season-best nine service aces, led by junior defensive specialist Kaitlind Bestgen with three. Bestgen leads the Mountain West in service aces this season, and has eight in the Rams' last nine sets.
- The nine service aces are the most by CSU since Sept. 6, 2013, when the Rams had 11 against Virginia.
- As a team, the Rams racked up 51 kills on .318 hitting and had four players reach double figures.
- Under senior setter Deedra Foss, the Rams have hit at least .318 in all eight matches against the Broncos. Foss finished the night with 40 assists and nine digs in the three-set win.
- Senior outside hitter Marlee Reynolds led the way with 14 kills on .423 hitting. In two matches against Boise State this season, Reynolds has totaled 27 kills (4.50 kps) on .364 hitting.
- Junior right-side hitter Adrianna Culbert continued her stellar play with 10 kills, 12 digs and five assists on .562 hitting. Culbert also tied for the team lead with four blocks, including one solo.
- In her last six matches, Culbert is averaging 3.11 kills per set on .434 hitting, while also racking up 3.44 digs per set with two double-doubles.
- In Set 1, the Rams trailed 12-8 before going on a 5-0 run to take their first lead of the match at 13-12. The run extended all the way to 14-4, as CSU opened up a 22-16 lead before eventually taking the opening set, 25-18.
- Set 2’s 30-28 score was the longest set for CSU since Sept. 17, 2010 when the Rams lost the second set against Long Beach State, 33-31. The second set Thursday featured a total of 16 ties and nine lead changes. CSU held four set points while Boise State had two.
- On the season, CSU has won 81 percent of its sets decided by five points or fewer (25-6).
- After the closest set that CSU has played all year, the Rams took control of the third and final set, leading for the duration of it, including a 4-0 start.
