  • No. 6 Colorado State improved to 22-1 on the year, and 10-0 in the Mountain West play, with a sweep over Utah State (25-18, 25-15, 25-20). The Rams are the first team in the nation to 22 wins.
  • Since its only loss, to then-No. 4 Wisconsin on Sept. 6, CSU has since won 17-straight matches, the fifth-longest winning streak in program history. It is the fourth-longest active winning streak in the NCAA.
  • The Rams have swept each of their last seven opponents and have won 23-straight sets dating back to Oct. 2 vs. UNLV. The 23-set win streak is the longest for CSU since it won 24-consecutive sets from Oct. 13-Nov.4, 2011.
  • CSU improved to 10-1 at home on the year and are now 50-4 at Moby Arena since the start of the 2011 season, putting them fourth in the nation in home winning percentage during that period. It marks the 10th-consecutive season that CSU has won 10-plus home matches.
  • The Rams have dropped just four sets in their 11 matches at Moby Arena, taking 30 of the 34 total sets.
  • CSU improved to 21-14 all-time against Utah State. The Aggies took 14 of the first 15 meetings over the Rams, but CSU has won 20-consecutive matches since.
  • CSU is 10-0 in Mountain West action for the fifth time ever, and the third time in the past five years. The Rams are the only unbeaten team in the conference, and entering the day owned a 2.5-match lead over second-place UNLV.
  • CSU limited Utah State to just .009 hitting and 23 attack errors. As a team, the Rams out-blocked the Aggies (6.5 to 5.0), who came into the match ranked No. 6 nationally for blocks.
  • Freshman middle blocker Jaliyah Bolden led the Rams in that category with five blocks, including one solo. She also added five kills. Both figures are career highs.
  • As a team, CSU racked up 44 kills while Utah State had just 24. Three different players for the Rams – Marlee Reynolds, Adrianna Culbert and Kelsey Snider – had at least nine kills on the day.
  • Reynolds led the team in kills with 11, while Culbert continued her recent production with 10 kills and zero errors on .625 hitting.
  • In her last seven matches, Culbert is averaging 3.14 kills and 3.29 digs per set while hitting .459 (66-10,122).
  • In the back row, junior libero Jaime Colaizzi posted her 10th-consecutive double-digit dig effort with 16. Colaizzi was particularly effective in the first two sets, racking up 14 in the two frames.
  • In Set 1, the Rams never trailed and were tied just twice. After Utah State tied the set at 16-16, the Rams finished on a 9-2 run to take the opening set, 25-18.
  • Set 2 saw CSU initially fall behind, 6-4, but again the Rams responded with a big run to take control. Behind strong serving, CSU went on a 13-5 run to take a six-point lead at 17-11. The Rams finished the set with a 5-1 run to win the set, 25-15.
  • After winning the third set, 25-20, CSU has now won 81 percent of its sets decided by five points or fewer this year (26-6).
