  • No. 7 Colorado State improved to 16-1 on the year, and 4-0 in the Mountain West play, with a sweep over San Diego State (25-22, 25-21, 25-16).
  • Since its only lost, to No. 4 Wisconsin on Sept. 6, CSU has now won 11-straight matches.
  • CSU improved to 5-0 all-time in its annual Orange Out match, which honors the university's agricultural history and original colors.
  • 4,370 fans were in attendance for CSU's Ag Day, making it the second-highest attended home volleyball match of the year.
  • CSU improved to 35-16 all-time against San Diego State, including 18-6 at Moby Arena and 32-3 under Head Coach Tom Hilbert.
  • The win avenges CSU's home loss to San Diego State last November, which ended the Rams' run at perfection. CSU led 2-0, but lost the final three sets to lose its first and only match of the regular season.
  • CSU improved to 7-1 at home on the year. The Rams are 47-4 at Moby Arena since the start of the 2011 season, putting them fourth in the nation in home winning percentage during that period.
  • Three CSU players reached double figures for kills, led by senior middle blocker Kelsey Snider’s 13 on .591 hitting (13-0-22). Freshman outside hitter Jasmine Hanna (12) and sophomore right-side hitter Adrianna Culbert (10) each posted double digits as well while hitting at least .350 for the match.
  • Hanna has now reached double figures in kills in a team-most nine matches this season.
  • Along with her 10 kills, Culbert also reached double digits with 10 digs, her fourth double-double of the year. Culbert has now tallied at least 10 digs in four consecutive matches and eight of her last 10. 
  • CSU out-blocked San Diego State, 7-4, led by sophomore middle blocker Acacia Andrews’ team-best four stuffs. Andrews entered the match third in the Mountain West for blocks during conference play.
  • As a team, the Rams hit .373 compared to .207 for the Aztecs. This marks the ninth time this season that CSU has posted a hitting percentage of at least .300. Entering the weekend, the Rams ranked No. 11 nationally in hitting percentage, at .288.
  • CSU was particularly effective in the third and final frame, registering 20 kills and just one error on a scorching .528 hitting. This was the fifth set of the season that CSU has posted at least a .500 hitting percentage.
  • In Set 3, Hanna was perfect, tallying seven kills on all seven of her swings.
  • The Rams out-dug the Aztecs, 42-39, pushing them to 13-0 this year when out-digging their opponent. Junior libero Jaime Colaizzi led the charge with 14 digs, including nine in the final set.
  • CSU led for the duration of the first and third sets. Set 2 featured eight ties and three lead changes before CSU pulled away with a 7-2 run to take a 20-16 lead.
