Thank you for your response to last week’s email! We have been busy updating your contact information and adding new people to our list. I look forward to meeting you at matches and events!
I am very excited to announce that our fall invitational (Oct. 21-23) has been renamed the Jon Messick Invitational! The countless contributions that Jon has made to our student-athletes, the university, the USTA, the tennis community and the community as a whole are astronomical! We are thrilled to honor him in this way and know his legacy will always continue at Colorado State University. Thank you, Jon. Click here for the full press release.
The ceremony portion of the tournament honoring Jon will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the University Tennis Complex (2400 Research Blvd.). All matches will be played from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. each day. The other teams include Iowa State, Northern Colorado and Wyoming. All teams will play at the same time. Admission is free to our ONLY home event of the semester!
Additionally, free cake and drinks on Saturday! Free pizza and drinks on Sunday!
