Hello everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying your holidays! We begin practice in less than two weeks! Our home opener (Jan. 22) is in less than a month! Time is flying by!

This week we highlight another one of our newcomers, Riley Reeves, from North Richland Hills, Texas (Fort Worth area). She plans to major in business administration with a minor in sports management. Riley hopes to be admitted into the Denver Broncos Sports Management Institute at CSU.

Q: If you didn’t play tennis, what sport would you play?
Riley: Volleyball.

Q: At what age did you start playing tennis?
Riley: 9 years old.

Q: What superstitions or gameday rituals do you have?
Riley: If I win a point, I always want to use the same ball.

Q: What is your hidden talent?
Riley: I mean… I’m a pretty good rapper!

Q: What is your favorite tennis memory with the team?
Riley: Overnight trips! They’re always super fun! We bond more and still take care of business on the court.

Q: What is something that most people might not know about you?
Riley: I was a cheerleader and a soccer player before I started playing tennis.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Fort Collins?
Riley: The people here are always super nice!
