THE WEEK
• No. 19 Colorado State will head on the road for a pair of matches after a 2-0 record at home last week, sweeping Utah State and Boise State.
•The Rams will face Nevada (9-17, 7-7 MW) on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. MT and San Jose State (16-9, 8-6 MW) on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. MT.
• Both matches this week will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
• Following this week, the Rams will close their Mountain West schedule hosting Fresno State on Nov. 15 and at San Diego State on Nov. 18.
• Colorado State will also host a non-conference match on Nov. 25, facing UC Davis.
• CSU will learn its postseason fate on Nov. 26 with the section show at 7 p.m. MT on ESPNU.
 
OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• Nevada enters the match with a 9-17 overall record and a 7-7 Mountain West Conference mark after recording a pair of victories over UNLV and New Mexico last week.
• San Jose State posts a 16-9 overall record and a 8-6 MW mark heading into the week after splitting their matches last week, beating UNLV and falling to New Mexico.
 
RAMS AT A GLANCE
• CSU enters the week with a 24-2, 14-0 MW record and ranked No. 19 in the AVCA Poll - highest of the season.
• CSU sits at No. 29 in the RPI rankings - the highest among MW teams. Previous opponent Colorado (11) sits above.
• Colorado State recorded another pair of sweeps last week against Utah State and Boise State.
• The Rams hold the best record in the nation in three-set matches with a 18-0 mark.
Jasmine Hanna became CSU's all-time kills leader in the modern scoring era in the sweep over San Jose State.
Katie Oleksak continues to lead the conference with a 12.02 assist average, which also is No. 4 in the nation.
Paulina Hougaard-Jensen is ranked No. 3 in DI in hitting percentage with a .466 tally, while Kirstie Hillyer is No. 36 with a .387 mark. Both rank in the blocks per set with Hillyer No. 15 (1.48) and Hougaard-Jensen No. 35 (1.32).
• The Rams rank fifth in the nation in hitting percentage with a .317 tick, 11th in blocks per set with a 2.95 mark and 29th in kills per set with a 14.07 average.
• CSU leads the conference in nine categories and has leaders in blocks (Hillyer), assists (Oleksak), service aces (Cizmic) and hitting percentage (Hougaard-Jensen)
• The Rams have three different players ranked in the MW in hitting percentage, leader Paulina Hougaard-Jensen (.506), No. 3 Kirstie Hillyer (.340), No. 5 Jasmine Hanna (.324).
