INDIANAPOLIS – Colorado State's Katrina Prendergast and Ellen Secor have received an at-large bid to the NCAA Women's Golf Regional May 7-9 in Austin, Texas. The pair were selected as two of 24 individuals to advance to postseason play at the Austin Regional at the University of Texas Golf Club.
Prendergast will be making her third-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Regionals, receiving an at-large bid each of her years at Colorado State. In 2016 she was the first Ram since 2012 to make the NCAA Regionals, and finished in the top third of the West Regional. The freshman at the time carded a 10-over 223 and led the 96-player field one-third of the way through action (3-under 68).
Last season as a sophomore, she again finished in the upper-third of the NCAA Lubbock Regional. She moved up four spots during the final round to finish tied for 32nd with a six-over par 222, which ranked second among the six golfers competing as individuals. Her final score of 222 tied a school record, with Brianna Espinoza (2012).
The junior leads Colorado State this season with a 73.61 stroke average and has 10 finishes in the top-10 so far this season, including winning the UC Irvine Invitational.

The sophomore conclude the season with a 74.21 stroke average and finished with seven top-10 finishes, including a season-best second place finish at the Gold Rush with a one-under par 215.
