FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women's swimming and diving team celebrated its seniors at Moby Pool on Saturday with a 175-125 triumph over Air Force.
The Rams notched first place in 12 of 14 swimming events and dominated the diving events with senior Rachel Holland placing first in both 3-meter and 1-meter diving. She eclipsed her personal best in each event.

IN THEIR WORDS
Head Coach Chris Woodard
On today's performance
"To pull out the number of wins that we did today was good. A lot of our high-performing kids swam really, really well."
On what's ahead
"We know we need rest, but they're not getting it yet, so they'll just have to stay focused for UNC coming up (Feb. 1) and we'll give them the rest to get ready for (Mountain West) Championships (Feb. 20-23)."
Interim Diving Coach Luke Richmond
On today's results
"Today was really an incredible day. All season long our girls have been putting in a lot of work, a lot of fundamental changes in their diving and it's really coming to a point where it's all falling into place, especially going into the Mountain West Championships."
On diver Rachel Holland's performance
"Rachel (Holland), in both boards, had significant personal records. When you're looking at a two-point leap in a diving event, it's like (improving) two seconds in a 50 free. We couldn't be more proud of her. She's been putting in the work. She threw three new dives in the meet and scored them all well."
UP NEXT:
The swimmers will return to Moby Pool to face off with Northern Colorado on Friday, Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. for their final home competition of the season. The Rams' divers will travel to Colorado Springs to compete in the two-day Air Force Diving Invitational, Feb. 1-2.
