CSU two shots out of top spot; Suyasri shares individual lead
VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. – Colorado State put together a solid 36 holes and sits in second at the 34th annual Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate on Monday at Old Overton Golf Club (Par 70 – 7,204 yards). The Rams enter the final round on Tuesday trailing leader BYU by two shots and seven shots clear of Auburn in third.

- CSU was tied for the lead after the morning round at 5-under 275, the Rams' third best round of the young season, as teams endured various levels of rain, including a 20-minute downpour.
- The Rams shot an 11-under 269 in the afternoon round, the second lowest round so far in 2019-20.
- Junior Parathakorn Suyasri is tied for the lead at 8-under 132, shooting a career-best bogey-free 5-under 65 in the first round (the team low round of the season) and following it up with a 3-under 67 in the second 18.
- Senior AJ Ott posted his 19th and 20th career rounds in the 60s, including tying his career low with a 4-under 66 in the afternoon round. He is tied for fifth currently.
- Sophomore Davis Bryant shot a 2-under 68 in the second round, his fifth round out of eight this season at par or better and is in 12th entering tomorrow.
- Junior Jack Ainscough had his first under-par round of the year in the second 18, shooting a 2-under 68.
- CSU will play with BYU and Auburn in the final round, going off No. 1 starting at 8:50 a.m.
