LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Colorado State women's golf team finished the first round of the Rebel Beach and started the second before having to stop play due to darkness. The Rams will finish the second round tomorrow morning starting at 9:30 a.m., MT before playing the third and final round of the tournament.

Colorado State finished the first round of the Rebel Beach tied for 10th place with Fresno State with a 309 (+21). Katrina Prendergast and Saga Traustadottir lead CSU, both carding a 76 (+4) in the opening card. Traustadottir finished even par on the front course, inking a birdie on seven. Prendergast also fared well on the front nine, marking a pair of birdies to finish with a 37 (+1).

The fifth and sixth hole looked to be the Rams' best as they combined for an even score across all five golfers. CSU carded six birdies in the round, led by Prendergast and Haley Greb who each had two. Greb tallied a 78 (+6) in the first round, followed by Jessica Sloot with a 79 (+7) and Ellen Secor with an 83 (+11).

Colorado State will finish the second round tomorrow morning starting at 9:30 a.m., MT before started the third and final round.
