NAPA, Calif. – The Colorado State women's golf team finished the first round of the Silverado Showdown on Sunday sitting tied for 15th after carding a 17-over par 305. The Rams are tied with Washington State in a field that has 11 teams ranked in the top 50.

Jessica Sloot leads the Rams with a two-over 74 for the round, marking a birdie and par on 14 holes. Ellen Secor followed, tied for 33rd inking a three-over 75 and Katrina Prendergast recorded a four-over 76 to sit tied for 44th.

The Rams made 10 birdies on the round, led by Prendergast and Haley Greb who each had three. CSU was also solid on the back course, combining for a nine-over par as Prendergast and Sloot both marked 38s.
