Colorado State is having one of the best season's in program history. The Rams carry a 29-5 overall record and 11-1 Mountain West mark into the series against UNLV. CSU had won 20-consecutive games during this season, which set a program record and, at the time, was the second longest active streak in the country. After being tabbed to finish seventh in the league, the Rams sit atop the Mountain West standings with four MW series left to play.
