Colorado State Earns Four Mountain West Honors

Eslinger, Wick and Wilson named to second team, Rutherford honorable mention

FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State softball team had four Rams named to Mountain West All-Conference honors the league announced Wednesday. Madi Eslinger, Reagan Wick and Jailey Wilson were named second-team All-Mountain West, while Autumn Rutherford was named as an All-Mountain West honorable mention. 
 
The first honoree for the Rams is redshirt-freshman Madi Eslinger who was named to the All-Mountain West second-team. Eslinger finished conference play with three home runs and 16 total RBI, contributing to her .600 slugging percentage, which ranks 21st in the conference. With 18 hits during conference games, Eslinger ranks fifth for the Rams in hits. Eslinger earns the first all-conference honor of her career in her first full season of competition after redshirting last season, bringing the team to new heights with crucial offense contributions. 
 
The second honoree for the Rams is pitcher Reagan Wick, who was named second-team all-conference. From the circle, Wick made 17 conference pitching appearances and 11 starts for a 5.35 ERA and 47 conference strikeouts. Earning the second all-conference honor of her career after being named an honorable mention last season, pitching 70.2 innings in 2026. Most notably, Wick notched her first career no-hitter in the Rams season opener against Cal Poly on February 6. She also earned a Mountain West Pitcher of the Week honor after this no-hitter, adding to her career resume at CSU. 
 
The third honoree for the Rams is first baseman Jailey Wilson, who was named to the second-team all-conference. The junior finished the conference regular season just behind Eslinger for the Rams' offense in batting average at a .324 conference clip, totaling 23 hits. Wilson boasted a .577 slugging percentage as well as a .489 on-base percentage. Defensively, Wilson maintained a .979 fielding percentage, adding 182 putouts and nine assists from first base. This is the second all-conference honor of Wilson's career after being named to the second-team during her freshman campaign. 
 
Autumn Rutherford rounds out the list earning her first all-conference honor as an outfielder, being named to the honorable mentions list. Rutherford completed the season with a .312 batting average, finishing tenth in the conference in triples, recording two during conference play. Rutherford leads the Rams in hits with 24 during conference play, as well as doubles with seven notched during Mountain West games. The sophomore has produced in close situations posting a .304 average with runners in scoring position, which has proved her importance in the lineup for the Rams.  
 
Colorado State concluded its regular season last weekend in its final conference series of the year. The Rams begin Mountain West tournament play Wednesday, May 6th in the first round against No. 3 Nevada.
