CSU to round out 18-game slate at home against Boise State March 6
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State's men's basketball program will open Mountain West play at home against UNLV on Dec. 29, the conference announced today as part of the entire 2020-21 MW Schedule. The 18-game unbalanced schedule provides for nine home games for each team, as CSU will only host UNLV and only go to San Diego State for single meetings this season.
The annual Air Force Reserve MW Men's Basketball Championship will open on March 10 with three games at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., with the title game for the league's automatic NCAA Tournament berth played on Saturday, March 13 on CBS.
This schedule is subject to change based on the selection of games by the Mountain West national television partners. CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now initiate a selection procedure, which will include the shifting of several games from their current Saturday and Tuesday dates. Additional announcements on television selections will be made in the coming weeks.
The NCAA approved the start of the 2020-21 season on Nov. 25, though that could be altered based on the current health pandemic and subject to approval from state, county and local officials. Colorado State is currently working on its non-conference schedule and will release its complete schedule in the coming weeks. The game times will be set once all broadcast networks finalize their selections.
