Rams Complete Sweep at Nevada

Colorado State finished the series with a 3-1 win on Saturday night against the Wolf Pack.
RENO, Nev. – Colorado State finish the weekend with a 3-1 win against Nevada to complete the series sweep. The Rams move to 3-1 on the year. Both Breana Runnels and Jacqi Van Liefde reached double-figure kills for the second-consecutive night with 13 and 10, respectfully.

"We played at times like we're very young, but then we also were pretty good at in game in the first two sets," said Head Coach Tom Hilbert. "And then we dropped the third and we came out and played very substantially in the fourth. We have a lot of things to work through and we'll get better.

STAT OF THE MATCH
The Rams were much better in the serve-receive game, allowing the Wolf pack to just three aces.

- The Rams improve to 3-1, while the Wolf Pack fall to 0-4
- Set scores: 25-23, 25-14, 23-25, 25-20
- Both teams finished hitting under .200, with CSU at .158 and Nevada at .113
- Colorado State dropped in eight aces, led by Ciera Zimmerman with three
- Karina Leber controlled the net with four blocks (2-2) to help CSU to nine blocks
