THE WEEK
• Colorado State will return home and host UNLV for a pair of matches.
• The Rams will play the Rebels on Thursday and Saturday on the Mountain West Network.
• The first match will serve at 7 p.m., Thursday with Saturday's match at 12 p.m.
• Due to COVID-19, the Rams will often play the same opponent back-to-back at the same site.

OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• UNLV started their season with a pair of wins against San Diego State before having its bye week last week.
• The Rebels sit tied atop the Mountain West standings, along with Wyoming and Boise State, both with perfect records.
• So far UNLV leads the league or in the top three in all statistical categories, including hitting percentage, kills, assists and service aces.
• The Rebels returned nearly their entire roster, returning six starters that combined for 682 sets.
• UNLV was tabbed second in the Preseason Coaches' Poll, just behind CSU with four first-place votes.

• Colorado State faced UNLV just once in 2019, winning 3-1 in Cox Pavilion to extend its winning streak against the Rebels to eight matches.

• Colorado State got back into the win column last week with a pair of wins at Nevada.
• The Rams are fourth in the Mountain West standings with a 3-1 record, just behind Boise State, Wyoming and UNLV with perfect marks so far.
• CSU is second in the MW in hitting percentage with a .250 mark, just behind UNLV with a .295.
• Freshman middle blocker, Karina Leber paces the conference with a .403, which is 43rd in the country.
• Colorado State ranks 12th in the nation in aces with an average 2.20 per set, led by Ciera Zimmerman who is 39th in the country with .60.
• Head Coach Tom Hilbert secured his 300th Mountain West Conference victory in the first match at Nevada to be the only coach in the league to reach that milestone.
•Senior Breana Runnels was named the Preseason Player of the Year for the first time and named to the Preseason Team for the third time in her career.
• The Rams finished last season leading the nation in opponent hitting percentage, holding foes to a .111 mark. They also finished No. 4 in the country in average blocks with 2.94.
