THE WEEK
• Colorado State will finish the home portion of its schedule with a pair of matches starting Thursday.
• The Rams will host Boise State on Thursday night at 7 p.m., before finishing the home schedule against Utah State on Saturday at 1 p.m.
• Both matches will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
 
OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• Boise State begins the week with a 10-3 mark and is in second place in the Mountain West.
• The Broncos dropped last weekend's match against San Diego State at home, which snapped a four-match sweep winning streak.
• Boise State's other two losses came at the hand of first-place UNLV.
• The Broncos are in the Top-4 in every stat category in the Mountain West with the exception of service aces.
• Utah State has struggled this season, holding a 3-8 mark, splitting series with Fresno State, SDSU and Air Force.
 
LAST TIME OUT
• Colorado State faced both Boise State and Utah State in 2019, taking both matches against each in the home-and-home series.

• Colorado State played just one match against Fresno State last weekend, earning a 3-1 victory.
• The Rams continue their success in the first match against an opponent, winning all five with the exception of UNLV.
• CSU is tied for fourth in the Mountain West standings with a 6-5 record with four matches left, two of which are at home.
• CSU is fourth in the Mountain West in hitting (.226) and digs (14.71) and third in assists (11.85) and kills (12.83).
• Breana Runnels is third in the conference in kills with a 4.05 average, which is also ranked No. 58 in the country.
• Ciera Zimmerman is second in the league in assists with a 9.61 average and is No. 91 in the nation.
• Alexa Roumeliotis continues to lead the back row, averaging a league high 5.05 digs per set, also No. 44 in Division I.
• Head Coach Tom Hilbert secured his 300th Mountain West Conference victory in the first match at Nevada to be the only coach in the league to reach that milestone.
•Senior Breana Runnels was named the Preseason Player of the Year for the first time and named to the Preseason Team for the third time in her career.
