Rams Stay Close for Final Tune Up

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State cross country teams will look to fine tune things as a handful of Rams are heading to Colorado Springs for the Colorado Springs XC Open Friday afternoon.

"I am looking forward to the Colorado Springs Open meet this Friday," said Head Coach Andrew Epperson. "It will be a great opportunity for our athletes to run on a challenging cross country course and for our freshman to run against some great competition. Several of the athletes running, ran well at the CSU Homecoming 5k and are looking to continue their positive momentum."

Only eight student-athletes will head to Colorado Springs for the meet. On the women's side: Kealan McNally, Carly Wall, Bailee Carr, Isabella Prosceno, Lauren Turner. On the men's side: Ryan Birkmeier, Levi Kilian, Chris Montross

The meet will start at 4:00 p.m., for the women's 6k before the men's 8k starting at 4:45 p.m. Fans can follow times HERE.

This will be the final meet before the Mountain West Championship next week, Oct. 28 in Laramie, Wyo.
