RENO, Nev. – For just the second time this season, the Colorado State volleyball team suffered back-to-back losses as the Rams fell 3-0 to Nevada Saturday afternoon.

Coming off a Thursday night loss to San Jose State earlier this week, the Rams saw continued woes in their defensive efficiency allowing the Wolf Pack to continue their campaign for a bid in the Mountain West tournament later this month.

Colorado State was able to outhit Nevada in both the second and third set, but it was once again the Rams' serve receive which gave up 13 Wolf Pack aces that allowed Nevada to capitalize on Ram errors.

This marks just the second time this season that the Rams have been swept and the only time during conference play.

As a team, Colorado State recorded 14 total blocks and 37 kills on a .202 team attack average.

Game leaders for the Rams include Karina Leber who led the way for Colorado State's offense with nine kills while Kennedy Stanford and Jacqi Van Liefde followed close behind with eight and seven respectively.

Stanford added two block solos as well as Alyssa Groves putting up great late game points as the Junior had three kills and three blocks playing in just one set.

The Rams will return to Moby Arena next week Thursday and Saturday for their last home series of the season before hosting the Mountain West tournament November 23-25. Colorado State will face off against New Mexico Thursday and Air Force Saturday.

Saturday's matchup will be a Green Out for fans attending Moby Arena while also serving as senior day, honoring the lone Ram senior Jacqi Van Liefde. Gametimes are set for 7 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Saturday.
