The Camas, Wash. native was named NAIA's Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year last season

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State women's golf has added Braeden (Brady) Campbell as its new assistant coach, head coach Laura Cilek announced today. Campbell's appointment is effective immediately.

"We are so excited to welcome Brady to the Ram Family," Cliek said. "Brady stood out early in the hiring process with his passion for teaching, competitiveness, and his attention to detail. I am confident that Brady is one of the best young coaches in the country, and our student-athletes will directly benefit from his expertise and overall enthusiasm for collegiate golf."

"I'd like to thank Laura for welcoming me to this great program," Campbell said. "I'm excited to get to work and continue building a championship program on and off the course. I am looking forward to seeing what this team can do and am grateful to be a part of that journey. "

Campbell most recently was the head men's and women's golf coach at Lewis-Clark State College for the past year, leading the Warriors to four men's and one women's team titles in 2021-22 and earning Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Coach of the Year honors. He had a third-team NAIA All-American, CCC Player of the Year and four All-Conference honorees on the men's side and three CoSIDA Academic All-District picks total from both teams. Freshman Kristof Panke also advanced to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship as an individual

Campbell began his coaching career at his alma mater, Concordia Portland, in 2018. As an assistant coach, he helped guide the Cavaliers to their first NCAA Regional appearance in the 2018-19 season, sending the men's team and two individual women. The team climbed even higher in the 2019-20 when the men jumped from 90th to 12th in the Golfstat rankings. The 2019 recruiting class was ranked the fifth-best in NCAA DII by Golfstat.

In the two years Campbell was on staff at Concordia, the men's team had two team victories, six all-conference performers, the GNAC Freshman of the Year and two All-West Region selections. During the 2019-20 season, the men's program broke every scoring record in school history. The CU women won four tournaments, five all-conference performers, the GNAC Freshman of the Year and one WGCA Second-Team All-American. After Concordia's closure in 2020, five students went on to compete at the Division I level.

Campbell competed collegiately, wrapping up his playing time at Concordia Portland. He earned one tournament victory, seven top-10 finishes and was a First-Team All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference selection while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise sports science.
