Hofschild scored 23 points in gritty win
SAN FRANCISCO – A win is a win. Colorado State stayed undefeated and moved to 5-0 after a 62-53 victory against the University of San Francisco on Sunday night in the Chase Center. The Rams struggled to shoot the ball early in the game and trailed at halftime before responding and outscoring the Dons 39-26 in the second half.

How It Happened
- Rams missed their first five shots. Cali Clark snapped the skid with her first 3-pointer of the season with 6:51 in the first quarter
- Colorado State strung together a few baskets later in the first frame, but still trailed 9-11
- CSU had a scoring drought of over four minutes in the second quarter, missing nine consecutive shots
- Sydney Mech hit a 3-pointer with 2:23 left in the half – which was the last score for the Rams
- Rams took the lead with 5:59 left in third after an and-one from Hofschild
- CSU took the lead with 5:06 left in third after a layup by Mech and never trailed again
- Colorado State didn't make a field goal in the last 4:53 of the game, but made six free-throws
