Trio Joins Women’s Golf Program

Laura Cliek welcomes three new Rams

FORT COLLINS – Laura Cliek and the Colorado State Ram welcome a trio of newcomers to the program. Jacinda Lee, Abibail Taylor and Ebba Thalsd will don the Green and Gold.

Jacinda Lee | 5-0 | Camas, Wash. | Camas HS
From the Pacific Northwest to the Rocky Mountains, Jacinda Lee joins the CSU women's golf program. The soon-to-be Ram earned the 2022-23 Individual District Champion at Camas High School and helped her team to the 2022-23 regional title. Lee was both a scholar-athlete and All-League selection in 2022-23.

"We can't wait for Jacinda to join our women's golf program in the fall of 2024!  Jacinda has been competing throughout the US in the top junior golf circuits throughout her junior golf career which has prepared her to transition into competing at a high level in her collegiate career. Jacinda is committed to academics, athletics, and we are certain will have an immediate impact on our women's golf program next fall."

Abigail Taylor | 5-8 | Adel, England | Prince Henry's Grammar School
The international flavor of CSU women's golf continues with the addition of Abigail Taylor. She has is the two-time Junior county champion in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, Taylor qualified for the Justin Rose Daily Telegraph Championship, ending up sixth. She has continually shown improvements with a pair of rounds under 70 twice in 2021.

"We are excited to welcome Abigail to our Ramily and our 2024 freshman class.  Abigail comes to Fort Collins with a competitive worldwide junior golf career and an extreme enthusiasm to join our women's golf program. She stood out early throughout the recruiting process with her dedication, competitiveness, and her desire to compete at the highest level in collegiate golf. We can't wait for Abigail to join us in Fall of 2024."

Ebba Thalen | 5-4 | Stockholm, Sweden | Celsiusskolan
Ebba Thalen comes from a program that has placed plenty of people in the college golf game with herself adding to the list. She brings plenty of international experience to CSU looking to make an impact right away.

"It has been so fun getting to know Ebba and her family.  Ebba stood out to us in the recruiting process for her desire to compete at the highest level, her love of the game, and her excitement to take advantage of all that CSU has to offer.  We can't wait to get to work with Ebba and see her compete in the green and gold in the fall of 2024."
