CSU shoots even-par during suspended second round

UPDATE: Colorado State ended up moving up to fifth place once the second round concluded with Hjelm tied for 16th and Bryant and Bleier tied for 26th.

LA QUINTA, Calif. – Day two of The Prestige at the Greg Norman Course at PGA West brought consistency for Colorado State. The team shot an even-par 284 to currently sit in sixth place as round two was suspended leaving half the field to complete its round Wednesday morning.
 
No Ram shot worse than a 2-over, 73 on the day with Davis Bryant and Rasmus Hjelm firing 1-under, 70s to lead the team. 
 
Hjelm moved into the top 15 for the tournament sitting at 1-under, 141 through two rounds. He was a stroke below par at the turn with a 34 including two birdies. He added another to his scorecard on the back nine. 
 
Bryant moved into the top 30 and two strokes behind Hjelm with his 70. He rode the par train throughout the day with 15. He recorded birdies on the ninth and 13th hole. 
 
Christoph Bleier is also tied for 30th with Bryant at 1-over, 143 after shooting a 73 Tuesday. 
 
Gavin Hagstrom now leads the trio of CSU golfers competing in the individual tournament after his even-par, 72 Tuesday. 
 
Round two will conclude Wednesday morning before a scheduled shotgun start of round three at 11:30 am MT Wednesday. Live results of the round can be found on GolfStat.
