CSU women’s golf sits in seventh place after round one
MESA, ARIZ. – Colorado State women's golf opened the Clover Cup hosted by Norte Dame at the Longbow Golf Club on Friday. Through 18 the Rams are in seventh place of the strong 14-team field that features five ranked teams. CSU shot a 12-over, 300 on day one.
Pemika Arphamongkol led the way for the team with her 1-over, 71. She carded an eagle and a pair of birdies on the day. The round places her tied for 20th.
Andrea Bergsdottir and Sofia Torres also sit in the top 30, tied for 28th with 3-over, 73s. Bergsdottir led all Rams with four birdies Friday.'
CSU sits a stroke behind Louisville for sixth and three behind No. 46 Tennessee to crack the top 5.
