Tip Off
Colorado State begins the new year and its home Mountain West schedule hosting reigning league champion and preseason favorite UNLV on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., in Moby Arena.

What If...
A win on Saturday would move Colorado State to 10-3 overall and 6-1 in Moby Arena. The Rams would also improve to 33-24 overall against the Rebels and snap a four-game skid in the series. It would also be the first home win against UNLV since the 2020 season - a two game streak.

Recapping Last Week
The Rams had their mid-week bye after playing at San Diego State last weekend. CSU opened Mountain West play against the Aztecs, suffering a 74-71 overtime loss to SDSU. Colorado State has lost the last five games in Viejas Arena.

Series History
Colorado State and UNLV will meet for the 57th time in program history on Saturday afternoon. The Rams lead the overall series 32-24 and are 18-7 while playing in Moby Arena. CSU has struggled in the series recently, losing seven of the last nine games, including the last two played at home.

Golden State Resident
Colorado State will visit California a total of five times this season, playing in all the major areas. The Rams have visited San Francisco, Long Beach and San Diego already this season. CSU will still visit Fresno and San Jose this season.

Frequent Flyer
Colorado State wasn't scared to leave Moby Arena during its non-conference schedule, playing in a majority of the regions west of the Mississippi River. The Rams traveled about 6,150 miles before Mountain West play began, visiting Texas, Montana and California twice.

Colorado State holds a +14.5 scoring margin - No. 56 in the nation. The Rams have had six games where they defeated their opponent by 20+ points, including five games in Moby. CSU holds a +24.5 scoring margin in Moby Arena.

Colorado State has been effective coming out of halftime, averaging 7.1 more points than its opponents in the third quarter. The frame is the largest point differential with the highest being 17 against Alabama A&M on Nov. 9. The Rams have been outscored just twice in the third quarter - at UTEP and at Long Beach State

Solid Defense
Colorado State made defense a priority this season and that is why they are the No. 27 defense in the country keeping opponents to a 30.1 mark shooting.
